An Open Letter to All Legislators and Fellow Nigerians

I have participated actively in politics - in my own way, in a sense I called it "Representative Democracy" though I failed. You want to know 'why'!? Because I came in within with a different mindset from the 'usual norm of this cankerworm'! Spare me the rest of the story. 

Politics is a beautiful game, but the challenges are the kinds of imps who 'found' themselves in the system. Looking closely and with deep interest, many things caught my attention. 'Good' people hardly participate in politics. The reason!? It is a dirty game; they'd always echo. But I always ask; what makes it dirty, the parties or participators; the game or the players of the said game!? 

I have studied almost all the activities in this country, being a Creative Social Entrepreneur (CSE) that I am, I have followed people and events on all the social media platforms, gone with the wind of the mainstream media for decades now. Also, I've been following closely the activities of the past and this present government and have explored all the opportunities I've ever had on the net. I have sampled out opinions of people as regards the performance of the legislators of this government. 

My Findings: I have realized that the hardship faced by Nigerians is simply as a result of the fact that almost every one of us benefited or are benefitting from the cycle of the so-called 'corruption' True, Eve it or not. From small to great; companies and firms, corporate and private; sole traders. All entrepreneurs likes: Vulcanizers, Mechanics,  Masons/Bricklayers, Plumbers, Common Laborers, Tilers, Painters, Tailors, Fast food Centres, Beer Parlours, Welders, Mai Nama and Shayi, Gatekeepers ...etc are all complaining because for example, a mason, building construction has slowed down massively because the thieves no longer have money to spend on real estate.  

The car dealers are grumbling because their cars are begging for buyers. The thieves can no longer spend wasteful resources they enjoyed. The private school owners are shouting because parents can no longer pay the  outrageous sums and are withdrawing their pupils/wards. Some parents now write undertakings at the account section for their children to be allowed to write exams. Some are forced to change schools and the lists goes on. 

The fact is that, a lot of people are returning to what the computer call the ''default mode''. Resetting the modus operandi. Go to the federal capital territory, what do you see all around you!? Ah! false life, fake living. Almost everybody have been living above his/her REAL MEANS. Driving cars that is above our maintaining capacities. We have been staying in houses that are highly than our incomes. Our children are going to schools that we can't afford. We have been living a FAKE LIFE all along. Now the reality is before us and we don't want to accept it. 

What a deviation, what a moral bankruptcy! You can't eat your Cake and have it. You got billions from bank without collateral using your political influence. You put half into your business and spent the other half on exotic nonsense, and scrupulous lies. Fake trips, False vocations, unnecessary flight tickets, Cars, jewelries, etc.

I honestly don't expect every Nigerian to appreciate this work, but to the few who do, let's be strong and move this Country forward. Never neglect the power of little beginning. We have began, and we will succeed. Nigeria shall be great again. Make your voice count. We are tired, and enough is enough. The change is now and here!

I want you to know that anything that a beginning, must have an end. This too will end!
