The Seven Principles of Quality Leadership

Nothing has gone wrong with the concept of quality leadership, but plenty has gone wrong with the way it's being implemented. Much of the trouble stems from senior executives failing to recognise the link between leadership and quality. There can be many traits

to state as "leadership" qualities. Though, when speaking of leadership, I think that "goes with the territory". For instance, the qualifications of one individual in a given situation can differ from that of another. 

The Seven Principles of Quality Leadership

1. Never let anything or someone become a priority in your life when you are just an option in their own life; because relationships work best when they are balanced.

2. Never explain yourself to anyone. Because the person who loves you doesn’t need it, and the those who doesn’t won’t believe it either.

3. When you keep saying you are busy, then you are never free. If you keep saying you have no time, then you will never have time. When you keep saying that you will do it tomorrow, then your tomorrow may never come.

4. Anytime you wake up in the morning, you have two simple choices:

a. Go back to sleep and dream

b. Wake up and chase those dreams. The choice is entirely yours!

5. The irony of caring for people is this; We make them cry who care for us. We cry for those who never care about us. And we care for those who will never cry for us. This is the truth of life, it may be strange but true. Once you realise this, it’s never too late to change.

6. Don’t make promises when you are in joy or upset. Never give a reply when you are sad. Ensure not to take decision especially when you are angry; learn to think twice, and act at once.

7. Time is like a river. You can’t touch the same water twice because the flow that has passed will never pass again!
