You think you know me and where I come from. I think you should thing again. Yea, I know that! Am black and am from Africa; yes, that's all 'they' know about me, and how sad that they so little and almost nothing:

  • How about my origin, what do you know!?
  • Check my history, what does it tell you!?
  • Take a look at my people, my heritage, what do you see!?
  • Visit my mother-land, tell me the resources available!
  • Go beyond the color of my skin, move a little deeper, who am I!?
  • Check the contend of my character, say what I am!?

While speaking to an acquaintance, who has a sense racism and with derogatory look, I said am from the greatest country in the world. He looked at me with a very strange look and said let me guess you are from Nigeria. A nod was all he deserved from me. Suddenly, out of curiosity he demanded for more explanations. I began to narrate some of the great research and discoveries that had been buries, that my fellow Nigerians knows almost nothing: these are about twenty facts and figures, that I shall present to you about this Great Country Nigeria:

The entire world still envies our uniqueness as a Country, living together despite our ethnic diversity. One single country with over 400 languages. They will only tell you how Nigerians are scammers and cheats, how Nigerians are into drugs overseas. If you don’t blow your trumpet, no one will blow it for you.
